Lesson 9: Add Stairs & Loading Platforms to Your Scaffolding

A scaffold isn’t just for standing on – it needs to be practical for working too. Here you’ll learn to add stair towers for access and loading platforms for bringing materials where they’re needed.

Step by step

  1. Draw a façade scaffold
  2. Start with a simple façade scaffold.

  3. Add a stair tower
  4. Click the arrow next to the scaffolding icon and choose the Stair tower tool.

  5. Place the stair
  6. Add the stair tower where you want it. Make sure the tower size matches so it can be placed outside a bay.

  7. Create a loading platform
  8. Enlarge a bay and place it on the outside. The guardrails will be removed automatically so the platform can be accessed.
